PRIVACY STATEMENT

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

When you call the station to make a pledge of financial support, we will ask for your name, address, city, state, zip, telephone number, the amount of your contribution, and the music formats you support.

If you choose to use a credit card for your contribution we will ask for your credit card number and date of expiration. If you request information from WOBO such as a program schedule we will ask for your name and address.

WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION?

We collect this information to properly enable us to credit your contribution, to send an acknowledgment of your gift, provide you with information about the station, changes in our program schedule, and to communicate with you to request further participation.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THIS INFORMATION?

General information ( your name, address, and the station formats you like) is entered into our donor database. This information is required to produce a statement of donation for tax purposes. Credit card numbers are processed and kept in a secure location. The forms are destroyed after 90 days.

ALL INFORMATION IS RETAINED BY WOBO

WE DO NOT SHARE THIS INFORMATION

All information collected from you is retained by WOBO. Since the very beginning of the Station it has been our policy not to share information about our contributors with anyone. We do not sell mailing lists or any other information. You have our assurance that information furnished to WOBO in the course of our activities will remain solely the property of WOBO.
